Our reseller

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. When you pay, you buy from Paddle under Paddle's Buyer Terms; these Terms cover the plan itself and your use of the site. We provide help with the plan. You may contact us to help locate your order and submit a refund request to Paddle; Paddle processes payments and refunds.

What you buy

One PDF woodworking plan for one project, calculated by our software for the sizes you typed, within the ranges shown next to each field, in the units you chose. The plan prints the exact size it was calculated for. Nothing physical is shipped. You pay once; there is no subscription.

Price

A paid PDF plan costs the price shown on the plan page per personalized PDF, plus applicable tax. You pay once; there is no subscription. The payment provider calculates any applicable tax and shows the total at checkout before you pay.

Delivery

Your plan unlocks only after the payment is confirmed to our server by the payment provider — not when you return from the payment page. Some payment methods take longer to confirm; your plan unlocks when they do. You then get a download link that works for 15 days from the payment. If you gave your e-mail on the plan page before payment (optional), we also send the link there and you can ask for it again. Download and keep your own copy of the PDF. The 15-day limit applies to the download link, not to your continued use of the file you saved. After this period we do not promise link recovery. The separate 30-day period for requesting a refund is unchanged.

If the payment fails or is cancelled

Nothing is unlocked. While your order is open you can try again from the same payment page. If your statement shows a charge for an order that was not unlocked, write to us with the order number.

Refunds

You can ask for a full refund for up to 30 days after your purchase. You do not need to give a reason. See our Refund Policy for how to contact us and how refunds are processed. A refunded or charged-back order loses access: its download link stops working. Rights that the law of your country gives you are not affected.

What the plan is — and is not

• The plan is calculated by software, checked by automated tests and an independent review. You are responsible for measuring your materials and checking each size before you cut.
• Lumber prices are estimates from one US store on the date printed in the plan. Prices and actual board sizes vary.
• If the plan says something is required (for example anchoring to a wall), building the plan includes doing it, following the instructions of the product you use.
• Use your tools and protective equipment as their manufacturers instruct. The plan is not a structural certification.

Your licence

You may print the plan and use it to build the project as many times as you like for yourself. You may not resell, share or republish the plan, the PDF or the link to it. Anyone with the download link can download the plan, so keep it to yourself.

Free sample

The free plan on the site is provided as is, under the same "what the plan is" and licence terms.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for a plan is limited to the price you paid for it. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and applicable rights

We may update these Terms; the version at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase. Nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory consumer protections or other rights under applicable law.
